To ask the Scottish Government what assessment it has made of the impact on service users of delays of up to 28 weeks in the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman allocating complaints to a reviewer.

3. Kim Schmulian (S7O-00100)
To ask the Scottish Government, following the recently closed public consultation into the future of the Woodside Viaducts, which support a section of the M8 in Glasgow, what further consultation has taken place with key stakeholders regarding preferred options and associated costs for the delivery of this major project.

4. Finlay Carson (S7O-00101)
To ask the Scottish Government what engagement it has had with stakeholders to support the maintenance of banking services in rural areas.

5. Joe Long (S7O-00102)
To ask the Scottish Government what assessment it has made of the number of people with learning disabilities and complex needs who remain in inappropriate hospital placements, eight years on from its report, Coming Home.

Ministerial Statement – Non-Domestic Rates Reform

Scottish Government Debate – Meeting the Challenge of Climate Change

1. Gillian Martin (S7M-00434) – Meeting the Challenge of Climate Change
That the Parliament recognises that climate change constitutes an emergency; supports the goal to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius; notes the consequences of climate change that are currently impacting populations and places around the world; condemns any spread of misinformation about and denial of the impacts of climate change that undermine the evidence base; reaffirms Scotland’s commitment to delivering ambitious climate action and achieving net zero by 2045, in line with its statutory carbon budget targets; agrees on the need to enhance Scotland’s climate resilience and adaptation efforts to safeguard people, communities, public services and ecosystems from the impacts of climate change; welcomes the transformative opportunities presented by climate action, including significant economic, social, environmental and public health benefits, and acknowledges that delivery of the transition must be fair and inclusive for all.

Members’ Business – Save STV North News

1. Jack Middleton (S7M-00227) – Save STV North News
That the Parliament condemns Ofcom’s reported decision to approve controversial plans to end STV’s dedicated news coverage for the North of Scotland; acknowledges that the plans were strongly opposed by the Scottish Government, MSPs from five political parties, STV workers and the general public; notes reports that a survey of viewers across North Scotland found that only 4% were in favour of the plans, and further notes the calls on television regulator, Ofcom, to urgently reconsider this decision.
