Join us live from Òran Mór in Glasgow as First Minister of Scotland and SNP Leader, John Swinney makes a speech on building a National Movement of Hope in 2026.
In his speech, Mr Swinney, pledges that the SNP will use the 2026 election campaign to build a national movement of hope across Scotland.
The First Minister contrasts the increasingly right-wing Westminster system which is making people in Scotland poorer, with his vision for a better Scotland with independence which allows Scotland to rejoin the EU, build an economy that works for everyone and bring down energy bills.
Mr Swinney points to improving performance across the NHS, across schools and throughout the economy, but warns that Scotland’s economy is being held back – and living standards are suffering – thanks to the UK’s broken economic model.
In this election this year, the First Minister asserts that Scotland can address the key barriers to Scotland’s success by securing a path to independence with a vote for the SNP.
