Full Scottish – 14/06/2026

Welcome to the Full Scottish, live from our new Studio in Stirling.

The Full Scottish starts at 12:00pm on Sunday 14th June 2026.

On this week’s Full Scottish, Nadia Chand is joined by guests, David Barratt, MSP for Cowdenbeath and journalist, Ruth Watson, to discuss the week’s top Scottish and international news, including Ukraine, Middle East, far-right riots, Israeli interference in Scottish Elections, dark money and funding of Scottish political parties and Scotland’s 1-0 win over Haiti in their opening match at the World Cup.

On election interference in Scotland, the French Government Viginum said:

“…the accounts of Scottish First Minister John Swinney and his party, the Scottish National Party (SNP), appear to have been targeted four times between January 6 and May 8, 2026, by the coordinated posting of English-language comments from these inauthentic accounts.

As part of this operation, VIGINUM identified the mobilization of at least 256 accounts that disseminated 1,400 comments, primarily on posts by @JohnSwinney, @theSNP, and @ScotGovFM.

Furthermore, the use of the logo on the account @sadaqahpalestin led to the identification, via a review on the Fiverr platform, of the profile “paullussac,” which appears to have been commissioned to create this logo.

Investigations into this profile revealed other reviews left by the same user, notably for the generation of AI-powered videos allegedly intended for Togolese or Gabonese audiences. One of the reviews left by “paullussac” also refers to the creation of a website for a company located in Israel: twostepinnovations.com. This domain name is hosted on the same IP addresses as blackcore.online.”

The need for a fair and balanced independent broadcaster in Scotland has never been greater, however, to add to our funding challenges, we have now moved to new studio premises in Stirling and that is why we set a target to raise £30,000, to enable us complete the move as seamlessly as possible, so we can increase our programme output in this most important year ahead for news in Scotland.

Broadcasting Scotland is Scotland’s independent broadcaster, producing programmes from a Scottish perspective, targeting audiences, inside Scotland and beyond. We can only be the independent TV channel you want with your support, so please consider becoming a Broadcasting Scotland Supporter.
