Full Scottish – 02/08/2020

Welcome to the Full Scottish from our Cowcaddens Studio in Glasgow.

Full Scottish starts at 12:00 midday on Sunday 2nd August 2020

Kenny McBride is joined by Linda Fabiani MSP for East Kilbride and writer, Lizzie Eldridge on the Full Scottish this week.

Where to start this week, as the Boris invites Scottish tory leader, Jackson Carlaw to resign so that the tories in Scotland can be led by someone described by the Prime Minister’s office as a nobody. In the meantime, until Douglas Ross can get into Holyrood on the tory list in the Holyrood Elections, Ruth Davidson who has just been made a peer by Boris Johnson, will return to leading the party at FMQs. Perhaps Jackson Carlaw will wake up in a shower, only to discover he is not in Dallas, but Psycho!!!!

For the SNP, you might think all they had to do was keep the focus on doing the day job, building the campaign for Scottish Independence to be ready to go straight to a referendum after the Holyrood elections in 2021, however it seems the capacity of Scots for infighting has infected the SNP as well.
